1pm West Palm Beach: Central Labor Council luncheon and rally (Palm Beach Cnty Classroom Teachers Assoc, 715 Spencer Drive, West Palm Beach)
- Heidi Schierholz, Economic Policy Institute, on the economic message for women - not only equal pay but jobs in science, math, education, green tech, etc.
- The Reverend Nelson Jerome Pierce, Jr. Lead Organizer for the AMOS Project, a non-partisan group, working to bring together Cincinnati Clergy with a passion for justice. The topic: Voter intimidation in African American Communities in OH in 2012 election. Rev Pierce was one of the main leaders in getting the Ohio billboards taken down that were so intimidating to African Americans by warning that voter fraud is a felony punishable by 3 1/2 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
